Hello Project Top 100 Songs: Part 9

We’re almost to the end! Here are the “runners up” for being in the top 10. Lots of great stuff here, I promise.

#20- Pineapple skin! Nom nom nom.

#18- It’s a really good song, but it might have ranked higher if I weren’t so sick of hearing it in concert.

#14- I admit it. I’m a sucker for sappy feel-good idol songs.

#13- One of these voices is not like the others. One of these voices just doesn’t belong….(sesame street ref. FTW)

#12- Their best single is paired with their ugliest PV. Oh the irony.

    ooo, i like these 10 (most of em)
    which concert is the dekkai perf from? i dont think ive ever seen that one, but it has to be like go girl / shabondama time?

    cant wait to see the last 10!

    I love lists and yours is a doozy! As a huge H!P fan I really appreciate the time, thought and energy you put into this epic project. I agree with most and disagree with some, but that’s what makes these kind of lists so great.

    What really sticks out, and as I do my own list in my head, is how many very recent songs are on the list. Both on yours, and the one in my head.

    For those who think H!P has gone downhill creatively, I could point to quite a few recent songs as proof that Tsunku & co. are as on top of the songwriting/producing stuff as they have ever been. The two S/milage singles would be on my list and the recent one in my Top 10. Buono!, C-ute, even those new shuffle songs premiered in the summer H!P concert (when are those getting released???) are great!

    Keep it up, can’t wait to see what your #1 is. I know mine. It’s by a very early shuffle group that changed members a few times and shines bright yellow….

    ^Glad you like it. The new shuffle songs just got released on the new Pucchi Best album. I feel like some of them were plenty good enough for a full single release, but whatever.

    thanks! Yeah,I wanted PV’s for those new shuffle groups! Hopefully it isn’t a one-off and we’ll see more releases from them in the new year.
