The Aika thing, I kind of like her, but I do find her personality bland nowadays
I do kind of find her attractive but her top lip is too thin

The only problem is if we lost her now, she’s the only previous member under 20
so she kind of connects 5th/6th gen with 9th gen
she’s good in a senpai kind of way like how she scolded them on bijou gaku

she needs to drop the cuteness now I think
now Koharu is gone and 9th gen are there
its time for her voice and image to mature, maybe then she’ll be able to pick up popularity

and I wouldn’t want to loose her juuuuuuuuuuust yet

though I feel like its going to be awkward cauz some of 10th gen are bound to be older than 9th gen

I kind of miss linlin now cauz she was another younger member who could have bridged the gap and was better than aika in every way

I agree with everything you said about Aika. Add to that her constant illness (not something she can control, but not something you want in an Idol whose job is to appear vital and “genki”) and… well. She’s only not my least favorite member because Reina is still in the group. In my mind, Aika’s greatest contribution to the group is as a kind of backstage idol. She’s always bringing snacks and chatting with everyone, helping the group gel. She doesn’t have charisma, but she helps the group feel more welcoming and comfortable with one another. I try to remind myself of that whenever I see her without bangs…

Agreed with everything you said about Aika. I think she’s a bit of a brat too. I feel bad about her health issues recently but I think MM would be better off with out her. I would’ve rather had any of the other girls that auditioned during that gen. Sumire especially or even Yuu. Girl can sing, and she’s cute. Much cuter than Aika…

But meh- what can you do?

In any case, loved the quiz!! But I couldn’t figure out why Koko ni Iruzee wouldn’t work – you put Koko in Iruzee XDDD Ahaha.

Just wanted to let you know on your song title game for Momusu you have the song Koko ni Iruzee listed as Koko in Iruzee!.

I missed that answer due to the misspelling.

that’s why my love for momosu went down. wtf where they thinking when they choose aika? most mm fans are in denial about not letting her shine, etc. i totally agree with you, she had a chance and it went and now it’s gone lol.

I actually really disliked Aika at first – to me she was the most unfortunate looking of the 8th gen auditioners, had an awkward voice, and to this day I still think UFA made a bit mistake in picking her over Yuki/Sumire/Yuu.

Still, she’s grown on me a bit, and now I just feel kind of indifferent. Must be tough being an idol with so many health issues, and you can’t help genetics.

I agree with everything you say about Aika. Except I don’t find her bland, I find her bratty and whiny which is even worse in my book. I don’t really know what else is there for her to do in MM, she seems to have peaked and her health problems are definitely not helping her at all. I hope that with the audition and graduation machinery back in shape things will change for the best for MM, and they have IMO, they’ve been doing great this year, and I only expect things to improve even more.
