A really nice post. Been a fan since 2006 and things seem to be changing around for Morning Musume for the better with sales and attention in Japan and overseas which is really good.

I feel teary reading this post…
I’ve been morning musume fans since Yoshi just graduated, and I’ve been kind of riddiculed by some friends who happen to be a fan of other japanese groups….
I’m so glad I stick up until now, even after my favourite members (Gaki-san – Kame) graduated…

I love your videos! Glad to see Sakura Chirari, Very Beauty and Minimoni Hinamatsuri on the list! Sakura Mankai is the perfect choice in my opinion! <3 I've never heard of Purple Wind but it seems like a lovely song.

I’m really happy about Karin, Aina, and Akari. They have been my favorites for a while. This is a really well rounded group, and I was super confused about Nanami, Ayano, and Natsumi, but thinking about it a little more, it doesn’t make sense to put all of the popular eggs in one group if he wants to make more than one group. The popularity probably is better dispersed. I also feel really bad about Rie, but more than charisma and talent, she’s also not too pretty… like Rinapuu not too pretty. I’m excited for this group vocally. <3

I get it. I really really don’t like Kono Machi and I wasn’t a fan of Kimi wa Jitensha either. They should get a ballad like KOIing, and I’ll be happy. The PV’s and songs of their most recent ones have been absurdly unbearable though, tbh.

I hear ya on the spam thing. Five years and nevermind comments – I’ve still not even hit 10,000 views. Heh. And I agree completely about that song. I can’t even get through it. Ditto pretty much all the other ballads. C-ute is all about energy for me. Yes, vocally they are strong, but ballads as singles just don’t have any impact with me. It’d have to be something along the lines of As for One Day(…would that classify as a ballad?).

I think Kimi Chari is the only C-ute ballad I can deal with. Kono Machi was very dull and annoying, I agree.

Really? C-ute with the strongest vocal base? I would think they are better known for dancing more if you ask me. :/
