For those of you who subscribe to me and don’t visit the site (I don’t blame you. RSS rocks my socks.), I’ve made a few changes to the main page. In terms of taking away, I’ve cleaned up the widget bar and no longer show categories, tags, and the archive. However, when in single post, archive, and search view, the widget bar shows the categories and archives.
Now for the additions:
- There’s a new banner!
- Both the featured article and latest review have icons beside their excerpts.
- I’ve added a link to the archives to the top.
- I’ve set up some “Spotlight Categories” in the top section of the side bar.
- The footer now has links to the latest posts, latest comments, and tags
I guess I forgot to mention that I added the sitemap and contact me sections and the twitter widget a while ago. Whoops!
Anyway, check them out and comment if you find any problems with these changes.
