I notice I use some pretty odd comparisons and adjectives in some of my reviews – the one that sticks out in my head the most is the arpy “spherical” synths in MEG’s SEARCHLIGHT. To all you music bloggers out there, do certain instruments sound like shapes to you? Or for a more general approach, do certain songs or instruments conjure abstract ideas, shapes, or numbers when listening.
I’ll try and keep this in mind for my next review, oddly enough, will probably be SAWA’s COLORS mini-album whose song titles consist of ManyColors, Blue, Yellow, Pink, and Green. You’ll be hearing from me if they fail to deliver their specified colour.
