Recommended eating. We have another late Cake Day greeting, this time from MorningBerryz. However, you can’t blame MorningBerryz it seems. It was the aliens’ fault! … XD There are some yummy looking cakes here… I’m partial to the cheesecake with a strawberry on top. Yum!

Tanjou 1Nen Kinen - I’ve Never Been Good With Anniversaries
Our own Kd (hope you don’t mind, Kd, but I’ve picked up Ray’s trend in that regard) joins in the Cake Day celebration with a slightly delayed Cake Day post. Well, I say it’s better late than never! ^_^ There’s no actual cake, but there’s a Chinami.
She shares her thoughts on her initial misgivings to the formation of International Wota, but unsurprisingly, the wide variety of views amassed in one place, and the overall feeling of community eventually won her over. Recommended reading.

Our own Julia has no cake, but cookies and marshmallows work just as well. She has special guests to celebrate with her, though the H!P girls had to leave when the boys arrived. XD She gives props to IntlWota for its role in our blogosphere and looks forward to the upcoming 2nd year.

Checking in, and has it really been a year? [Update]
I apologize once again for a terribly corny title (and this is Mikitty, not a reference to the Miya-bird on Hello!Island from a little while ago). Our own Wu-san’s blog is another blog that has no cake on cake day, but congratulations, thanks, and disbelief that a year has already passed are conveyed. I personally never saw the skit that is featured in the screencap, so I think I’m missing something…

Happy First Anniversary International Wota!
Recommended reading. Chris has no cake to share, but he has a very nice write up on the beginning of his journey into the world of J-pop, his reason for starting to blog and how the community of International Wota played a factor into that. I think that more than makes up for the absence of edible goodies in his post.

One Year of International Wota
How is it that on Cake Day, our very own head honcho, Ray, has not been featured yet? Ray shares with us his thoughts on the development of International Wota over this past year. It comes in as his second biggest achievement of the year because, well, with an adorable daughter like Haruna, what could compare? 
Ray is humble in his musings and thanks everyone who’s contributed this past year as he looks forward to the continued growth of IntlWota in it’s 2nd year. However, as much as Ray would like to avoid the spotlight, he can’t avoid the fact that if it weren’t for him, this first Cake Day wouldn’t be happening right now. ^_^
So, I think I can send out a big “Thank You” to Ray from the users of International Wota, for giving us a reason for some cake today!

Jim Haku sends his Cake Day wishes. I can tell one thing is a candle and the other is a giant M&M. But what is that in the middle? Jim also shares Dreams Come True’s Happy Happy Birthday. Somehow, this reminds me that two years ago, one of my favorite bands, Going Under Ground, released a single called Happy Birthday that ended up on the Internet on my birthday.

[Cake Day] Happy Birthday International Wota!!!
Recommended eating and listening. Holy cow, this is cool! My wife saw this and said, “That’s beautiful!” Anyways, Vee not only has this wonderful cupcake-based goodie, but also a cupcake playlist and the very first episode of her own podcast, The PinkCast. Vee has a very soothing voice, and promises tattoos if you hang out with her in real life. Okay, not quite, but still, a very enjoyable listen.

Recommended eating. The brother-and-sister team of johpan and maiZe make a very yummy cake, dubbed “wonky” for its lack of symmetry. I like how we see the whole process by which it was made, and of the choice of A&R and Buono! as side decorations.
