Chuo Dori has been functioning as my J-Pop experience blog since 2008. Before that I had a blog called ‘Idolgasm’ on Vox. I also ran the blog “My Sweet Meetan” for two years.
After almost 14 years of being into idols (since late 2006) I have racked up countless amazing experiences. And every time I go back to Japan something new and amazing happens. That is why I am so addicted to it. The idol world is unlike any other music genre. Now that I am living in Japan, this site has become more active than ever, and my experiences with my favorite idols have reached new levels of intimacy. (Well, not ‘that’ intimate, but I think you get what I mean) Once I zero in on an idol, I generally remain very loyal. I think the idols I support truly appreciate that, and the fact that I am a foreigner makes it even more special to them.
I use this blog mainly to report on my experiences going to concerts, events, meeting idols and other awesome things about being in Japan. But I also like to toss my opinion out there once in a while. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
BTW, the best way to reach me is via my ask.fm account: ask.fm/Cristafari, or at Stage48.net, where I serve as a Moderator. (Cristafari)
