L-O-V-E Lovely Makoto!!
So, news is out that Ogawa Makoto is back after studying in New Zealand for 2 years, and will be making an appearance on Haromoni@!
3/4 of the gokkies are reuinted!! Where’s Konkon?!
When I read that on the JPH!P forum this morning, I was so excited! This has definitely been a hectic week in my Hello! Project fandom. I still refuse to directly acknowledge what caused the initial flurry. Give me a few more days and I’ll get back to you on that.
Let’s get back to Mako-chan. I love the gokkies, and her return marks the reunion of Morning Musume’s 5th generation within H!P. Konkon should make a guest appearance when Mako-chan’s on HM@, and the gokkies should hold hands, skip and go galavanting… XD
But really, I’m so excited to see her come back! And I anticipate hearing her speak English. So, to prepare myself, I thought I should give myself a little reminder of how Mako-chan’s English was before she left for New Zealand…
That clip is from the 2005.06.26 (#265) episode of Hello! Morning. I personally love Eri’s story best, but Mako’s getting special recognition today due to this momentous occasion. Now we have something to compare her to. I would assume that her English is much better now and I can’t wait to hear it!
I wonder what this means regarding her position in H!P. Is she back permanently? What group will she join? Has she returned only to fade into H!P obscurity? I definitely hope not! Her personality is too engaging and entertaining to be cast aside.

It’s great she’s back. Just a thought…Ongaku Gatas is down a couple people. Could we see her joining Yossy, Charmy, Kon Kon and the others soon???

@vampirehunterd: Charmy☆Renai of Shiny Days (formerly Renai Project) was thinking of that too. I don’t actually follow Ongaku Gatas, though I wonder if I should give them a shot… XD I love Yossy, Charmy and KonKon. I also enjoy Mai. I don’t know anything about the others, but if Mako joins them, I think I’ll have to take the plunge and pay attention.
@Chris: Yea, Eri’s segment was the “refrigeeta” bit. I love it best ’cause she nearly killed their teacher through laughter. How do you beat that? XD

I just watch the HaroMoni@ episode featuring Makoto. It was so funny when she said “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m SO sorry.”

It’s Makoto was feature at the end of the show but she did speak a little English.

Its really strange to see her back … I guess she wants the money?
I wonder if she will be put into a new unit?
