I found this week’s memorable snippet moment while searching for the Hello Morning Academy English lesson episode for my Makoto post. This week features another segment from a Hello! Morning episode. The May 9, 2004 episode of Hello! Morning was a Mini Moni special, and I must say it was filled with tons of laughs. I’m not quite sure who should get the special mention here… Maybe I should have just put down Mini Moni in general… Oh well, you guys decide who stood out in this clip. XD

The premise of this clip is that the Mini Moni girls (Mika, Kago, Tsuji and Takahashi) have to make puns with the 3 fruits provided to them. The catch is that there is one put that has been dubbed as the “bad gag”, and the Momusu girls have to decide which of the 4 will make the “bad gag”. So knowing this, on we go with the clip.

The “return of Nacchi and Yaguchi” was cute. As was Mari not being able to come up with an example of Mika’s humour on the spot. XD

Also, Tsuji picking up the banana at the 3:05 mark, starting to opening and sticking her tongue out was just so great! XD If you haven’t seen this episode, the game they played prior to this one featured a 4 course meal, so you’d think that she’d be full… And yet, she wants the banana. And her joke royally FAILED!

And of course, Yossy’s team being robbed was just classic! I’m so glad that I stumbled across this clip. I had completely forgotten about it. XD
