This evening, I was writing up the latest Memorable Snippets post (see post prior to this one) while chatting in #wotachat. My brother suddenly came into my room and asked if I was paying attention to chat…

I thought, why? What’s going on? So I scroll up, and:

… Seriously, I was floored. I don’t follow the Elder Club much. The only person I keep up with is actually Matsuura Aya (no duh). But wow… This the end of an era. I realize that Elder Club hasn’t been doing much of anything within H!P recently. I mean, there wasn’t even an Elder Club summer concert this year (and no full H!P summer concert either). I was actually wondering about that. It felt a little odd only having a Wonderful Hearts summer concert tour this year.

Really, while ridiculously SUDDEN (I mean, a quick announcement of HALF of H!P graduating in about 6 months time), it’s not particularly surprising. Wonderful Hearts is really what’s raking in the dough for H!P, and it’s been that way for quite some time now.

I can only hope that by getting away from H!P, Aya can further her career and fulfill the potential that she has. Seriously speakin, she’s pretty much the only member of Elder Club that I can see myself keeping updated on life after H!P. Though, if Hangry & Angry continue on past the disbanding of Elder Club (seeing as they’re not part of Hello! Project - it’s simply 2 H!P members), I could possibly follow along and see what happens with them. I’m liking the sound of their single.

It’s nearly 4 am for me… I wonder if I’ll have weird H!P dreams tonight. Shocks like this tend to put my head in a weird place, resulting in odd dreams… Anyway, I guess we just have to wait and see what happens with all of this… I’m still in shock… So sudden. The graduation concert… I’m trying to picture how that will go. So many people graduating at the same time…

One thing I can DEFINITELY picture is the leftover 5th and 6th generations of Morning Musume bawling their eyes out. I mean, Aichan fell to her knees at… Nacchi’s (I think) graduation from Momusu… This is graduation from Hello! Project… Of Nacchi, Kaori, Kei, Mari, Rika, Hitomi, Nozomi, Makoto and Asami (I left out Yuko because she wasn’t in Morning Musume anymore when 5th gen joined). I usually take a sadistic pleasure watching graduation concerts, particularly ’cause it amuses me when the girls sing while crying… But I think for this one, I may have to cry along with them… So many memories…

I don’t quite know what else to say… Uh yea.. I think I need to watch Memorable Snippet #12 again. T__T
