Happy Birthday Zac!!
Here we go with another one of my random non-Jpop related posts on the Jpop-centric blog. XD However, today is a special day which I cannot let go by without a word (though, I’m currently about 50 minutes from having let that happen…)
Today is Zachary Walker Hanson’s 23rd birthday!!! And as my favourite member of Hanson, I thought he deserved a good old birthday post.

Seeing as it’s his birthday today, it made me want to go onto Hanson’s website and check what’s going on with the guys. And what I realized (I already knew this, but forgot) was that preorders for Hanson’s upcoming Take the Walk book and EP were being taken. So… Of course I had to go and preorder. And what made my day even better was finding out that shipping to Canada is free!!! Awesomeness!
Anyway, sales for the Take the Walk book and EP raises funds for five causes which Hanson is supporting on their Take the Walk website - all causes to help fight poverty and AIDS in Africa. Even if you’re not a fan of Hanson, please feel free to take a look at this website. Hanson is gaining a lot of recognition for their charity work for these causes, and even doing something as simple as buying a song for $0.99 on iTunes can help someone less fortunate than yourself.
Anyway, I’m totally getting off topic. It’s Zac’s birthday!! So, Zac pics coming up!
Zac’s on the left, and this was them in 2003 when the came to Canada for their “Underneath Acoustic” Tour. This was at Muchmusic, and I shook Zac’s hand and got’s Taylor’s autograph for the first time (I got all three guys to sign my copy of Underneath when they came back for “Underneath” Tour in 2004).
This was last year when Hanson went with Toms Shoes (see link in blogroll) to Africa to drop off 50,000 pairs of shoes to children who needed them. [Again Zac's on the left].

It really has absolutely nothing to do with his birthday, and isn’t celebratory at all, but it’s a pretty song, and I absolutely adore Zac’s voice, so tough. XD
