I’ve been looking for a particular episode of Utaban, but I haven’t been able to find it. However, during my search, I found some old subbed episodes with Morning Musume. 2 of these episodes contain an evil ballon game. I had seen part of the original game, back when Morning Musume was at the 4th generation. I absolutely abhor ballons. The scare the life out of me… So watching this massive balloon floating over Maki was terrifying for me, as a viewer. XD
However, I did not realize that they played this game again… And the clip I’m sharing here is from the second time they played it.
So, it’s been quite some time since the last installment of the snippets, but last night I was going through some old H!P DVDs in search of some Miki things for CatchFiveBats of Obnoxious Wota, I stumbled upon this wonderful old clip that I just had to share.
This interview is obviously from around the time when ‘Souda! We’re Alive’ was released. I don’t have the exact date of this appearance, but it’s a highly amusing interview of Morning Musume with Westlife on PopJam.
I have started ANOTHER worship blog, and from the title of this post, it’s quite obvious that it’s dedicated to the awesomeness that is Matsuura Aya!!

Like Last Forever, Shine More will basically be a place for me to go on about Aya as I please, posting whatever eyecandy and videos strike my fancy. Seeing as Aya is H!P’s most successful solo artist, I think it’s about time she got a worship blog, and I’m actually quite amazed that there wasn’t one around before this. So here’s to Ayaya!! ^_^
Aya’s concert Spring Concert was released this week on DVD in Japan, and holy geez, is it ever smoking!! Watching this concert has revived my love for Aya! Not that I stopped loving her, but my fascination for the H!P Kids kept me so occupied that I didn’t take the time to go check out most of Aya’s newer releases (though I do love Kizuna). After watching this, I will make a definite effort to listen through Double Rainbow more closely… I’m also itching to watch som old school Aya concerts now.
Seriously, this concert was fantastic (though, I’m a die hard Aya fan, so take that as you will). Live band + Aya’s awesomeness is a forumla for WIN!!
So with that introduction, on with the review! I reviewed this in a funny order. Some comments are from my first watch through, others are from subsequent watch throughs… Ans some have a mix of first watch plus later observations. I hope it all makes sense. XD
It’s not secret that the recent Berikyuu episodes have been performances by various Berryz Koubou and/or C-ute members as they sing covers of songs, Uta Doki style. I knew about this before these episodes aired, and I knew when they started airing…
So how in the world has it taken me this long to see this episode?!
So, 2 weeks after the single’s release and creeping upon the release of the Single V, I am finally getting around to reviewing Buono!’s latest single, ‘Gachinko de Ikou!’ (translated as “Let’s Compete Earnestly!” on projecthello, thus the post title).
I must say that this single is absolutely amazing! I am currently torn trying to decide if this is my favourite H!P release of 2008, or if High King still holds that title. What has me unsure is the strength of ‘Gachinko’s c/w, because the a-side definitely holds its own against ‘C\C Cinderella Complex’. Let’s see if writing this review can finally set me straight.
Well, pengie of unchained did her fifth podcast tonight… And it made me want to do my second one… So here it is! XD
I had a few technical difficulties, but meh. It’s done. It’s long, clocking in at around 1:07 ish. I rambled too much, and there isn’t THAT much J-pop talk in here… Some J-pop talk, some wotachat talk… Some responses to topics covered in pengie’s podcast. Ugh… The technical difficulties threw me off my train of thought…

I do have my random gushy points, but I definitely put thought into most of my blog posts, and I hope that comes across, even though I use this as a escape from the troubles of life…

After having a slight disagreement with my theme, I finally won the battle and got everything switched up to the way I wanted it!
When I initially changed my blog theme to this one, I had a few comments on the loss of orange on the site. Well, originally I was too lazy to mess around with the CSS, so I left it with the default colours. However, with the urge to change my header (I wanted a more updated Miya photo ’cause she looks awesome in ‘Gachinko de Ikou’ - review to come soon, I promise!), I figured why not changed the colour scheme too?
So, here we go! Now that I’ve gotten this out of the way, I can finally get to writing out some blog posts that have been sitting in my head while doing the Miya birthday countdown. Hope you guys enjoy the new layout!
Here’s just a quick update for the moment. It’s been almost a month since my last post, but most of my time has been taken up with personal/family matters (all good, just busy busy) and Miya’s birthday countdown which happened at my Miya worship blog.
But, now that Miya’s birthday has past, I should be getting back to my usual blogging habits.
So, it’s been a little while, but Berryz Koubou’s 5th album has been announced and, it’s been long enough that even the tracklist and covers have been leaked already.
