Hello there,
I just couldn't resist commenting. I was so happy to find another foreign KAT-TUN fan that's trying to go to the concert this summer. I understand your need completely I too REALLY REALLY must go to their concert. I have been going crazy trying to find a way to get tickets :( unfortunately my japanese sucks and I'm getting frustrated.
I am basing my whole vacation on this and am willing to spend crazy amounts of money for any date and seating. I really would like someone to go with too, I'm willing to help with the expenses SO PLEASE let me know if your interested?

BTW..... I don't know if you've seen this post but it seriously confused me further :http://community.livejournal.com/jone_records/52185.html#cutid1

Hi! I was also searching for ways to get tickets but to the Tokyo Dome instead. I found this site http://www.eonet.ne.jp/~jfca/ where you can become a member of the fanclubs and buy pre-sale tickets even if you are not from Japan, but only available to Asian countries and the US. A number of JE artists are listed but not KT because I think they don't have their own fanclub yet. It is pretty steep and I can't really afford it. If you are able to purchase tickets from them will you help me with mine?

thanks for the advice. Like I said, I have friends who's address I can use to register for yahoo auctions, but I think it's too much for me to ask to use their bank accounts, even if i do pay them back, so I don't think that option will work for this one.

mostly, i worry about trying to buy tickets only a week or less in advance (which is when i'll finally be in japan). there seem to be ways i could do it, but there's always a risk that i won't be able to if i put it off that long... i'll be really devastated if I can't go. sigh.

oh, and i've accepted that i'm probably going to have to pay many times what the tickets cost to the fan club members to get one. as long as things are in the 3 figure range (dollars wise) anything is fine.

When I lived in Japan before I always got tickets through official machines in convenience stores for small/indie lives or on yahoo japan auctions for popular ones. Unless you're a member of the fan club for a JE group your only on-line option for buying tickets is yahoo japan auctions but you need a Japanese address to register and usually payment needs to be made from a Japanese bank account or post office.

If that's intimidating, then here's my advice: I usually wouldn't recommend it because you have a probability of being ripped off, but there's two ways to get tickets once you get to Japan even if they're sold out (and they will be). Option 1 is to go to a ticket reselling store. They have them in Harajuku or other places in Tokyo. I've been to them but never bought there because they're highly priced and not the best seats, but if you're desperate it could work. More info: http://www.xs4all.nl/~bigron/hp/hpticket.html

Option 2 is to buy from a scalper. I'm not sure about KAT-TUN, but every large concert I went to had people selling tickets last-minute around the venue right before the concert. They usually stand in the path from the nearest station to the venue but not too close to the place itself. Again, the tickets are overpriced and not the best seats. I've never bought from a scalper but I've heard if you wait until 10 minutes or less before the start of the concert you could get a great deal.

If you're going to be in Japan over a week before the concert you still have the option of yahoo auctions. Bad seats in particular (3rd floor and whatnot) tend to start selling really cheaply a week or two before the date of the concert. As for payment, you can easily send cash through the post office and a lot of sellers accept this.

I won't be in Japan until September so I'm missing out on all the great summer tours :( but if I can help you out let me know, I've been to a lot of concerts and am fluent in Japanese.

lol. I'm not wise, just opinionated. I've never heard KT mention Morning Musume before, so that leads me to believe that they're not very concerned about them, but who knows really?
