Weeeeek
No, despite the title this isn’t about NewS, but it is news! Hahaha! It’s a double pun, because how many days in a week? 7! And how many consectutive days will KAT-TUN be performing at Tokyo Dome this May?? That’s right, 7!
Basically, they’re breaking their own record on Tokyo Dome performances. Each night will have its own theme too. KAT-TUN, breaking records, just because they can.
AND NOW FOR AN OFFER YOU SHOULDN’T REFUSE *EDIT* Thanks, I think I’ve got this worked out now, but I’ll let you know if the situation changes!
I wasn’t planning on going to a Tokyo Dome concert really, since it’s so large and there are a lot of bad seats out there, but in this situation, I might just have to give in. It’d be nice to find someone who speaks English to go with me. On my end, I’m pretty much positive that I can get tickets. I live in Japan, and I know several ways to go about securing them. On your end, you need to be pretty much positive that you will be in Tokyo on the appointed day with the money (in yen) to pay for your ticket. I’m not sure yet how much that will be, but rest assured that it’s not going to be less than $200. I won’t be trying to make a profit here, just cover whatever I had to pay for the ticket. Also, only females over the age of 18 please, and I can’t make any commitments unless you are sure you can come. I know it’s early, but any takers???
You know you want to,
~Celestia~
PS. The release date for “Rescue” has been set: March 11th, just 1 month after One Drop. KAT-TUN kind of had a lazy 2008, but 2009 is shaping up to be much busier for them! Incidentaly, I saw the covers to One Drop. They put some kind of fur stole on Jin. It makes him look girly. Reeeeeal girly.
KAT-TUN’s tour dates are our already?!
ARGH I WANNA GOOOOOOOOO!!!!But crap it i have school >(
Just wish i was older…T_T
Please have a concert just as grand as this in 5 years time KAT-TUN!!!
Have fun there!
I’ll just be sitting at home waiting for the DVD release :X
that’s pretty cool, ms. celestia
the band is really busy this year!
too bad, im from philippines and i have no means to get there
but its okay, i just hope to find a dvd of that performance
Hi Celestia, I found your blog while browsing for Kat-tun stuffs..XD
I really want to go to their concert but the plane tickets are going to cost me a bomb already..T.T I live in Singapore, btw. So until I have enough savings, I hope we can have a chance to go together for the next next Kat-tun concert? It’d be nice to know another English-speaking fan in japan..;)
p.s. what’s the highest price for the tickets that you’ve purchased before?’cause I know it ain’t going to be cheap XS
hey diana,
glad you like the blog! I think I paid about $300 american for the last KAT-TUN ticket I bought. That was for floor seats about 3/4 of the way back from the stage. I’m sure if there’s another KAT-TUN concert while I’m here, I’ll be going, so look me up if you’re still interested.
I posted in a later entry before.
I saw this post but I couldn’t confirm if I could go but right now I am pretty sure I can go over for the concert! Yaye!
(I will book my tickets to fly to Japan when I finish my book review. A promise I made to motivate myself. That means over the weekend.)
I am 20, from Singapore (I see someone else from Singapore in the comments!) and I speak English! (Engrish at times when I speak too fast?) Do I fit the bill? Heh.
Oh wait, I read back and saw that you got it figured out. If the offer doesn’t stand anymore, its okay!
Completely irrelevant but I don’t get that dead animal hanging off Jin.
I know this post is pretty old, but I had to comment.
I went to see KAT-TUN at tokyo dome last year, and it was really easy to get tickets. Just go there, and there’ll be tons and tons of people selling tickets outside. I think they went for 6000 yen each, but I’m not sure.
Sure, the seats weren’t awesome, but the feeling to be there.. impossible to describe! Anyway, getting the seats on the floor is supposed to be impossible unless you’re in the fanclub.
Hope you’ll have fun!
@Litoru
Well, the first KAT-TUN concert I went to was in Ishikawa in an unusually small venue (about 7,000 people) and they were ALL floor seats, so those tickets were much more expensive than Tokyo Dome tickets. I realize now how very lucky I was to actually get to see them up close when they went on their carts through the aisles.
This is my first time buying Tokyo Dome tickets, so I didn`t realize that I could expect them to be cheaper.
