Just Wonderin…

Published by celestia at 6:04 am under ramblings

Sorry, nothing to do with Jin’s solo. It’s just that I’ve been thinking, with HSJ showing up at KAT-TUN’s concert so much: Has Hey!Say!Jump released anything music-wise this year? I mean, we’re already halfway through May, and I don’t think they’ve done anything. I’m not a fan of theirs or anything, but I can’t help but wonder if their fans are pissed off.

Actually, I think that so far News has only had one single, and Kanjani has had no singles and an album. It seems like JE only cares about KAT-TUN (2 singles, 1 album, huge tour) and Arashi (2 double A-sides, constantly on TV) this year. Not that I’m really complaining! It just seems like it’d be a frustrating time to be a fan of the other groups.

I guess KAT-TUN was really innactive for most of the latter part of last year, so we KAT-TUN fans know how it feels.

Hmm… I think HSJ released a concert DVD this year… no singles, though. And they don’t have any albums out either.
But you’re right, it is a bit frustrating being a fan of any group that isn’t KAT-TUN or Arashi. As much as I love those two groups, NEWS is my favorite, and it was a long wait for Koi no ABO. It helps that they’ll be hosting 24 Hour TV this year, though.

Probably because the other JE groups still need a lot of exposure or shows? this will stimulate a lot of fans request to produce albums, concerts, etc.

I don’t think they had any less shows than last year, but they were putting out a lot more music last year.

Just a guess - given the age of the kids in HSJ, maybe a few of them are experiencing the wonderful phase of puberty. Thus they are holding off on anything musical until their voices drop. (I can’t imagine what their debut song will sound like when Chinen’s voice drops :P)

P.S: Since you are in Japan, is there any information on Arashi’s album or concert tour?
