Aya’s Got A Blog!!! :O
It’s kind of funny… This past Saturday, Risuzu (Charmy to me XD) tweeted at me, asking if I was still keeping this blog going…
Today, I got home from work, and I saw another tweet from Charmy, linking to AYA’S NEW BLOG!!!! OMG!
I’ve added the link to the blogroll, ’cause as an Aya worship blog, a link to her own blog MUST be here too. XD
The first thing I noted was her hair! I haven’t been checking out the Hello! Online picboard very often recently, so I completely missed her haircut! Wow it’s short! But I think she looks lovely on her blog! <3

Not a photo from her blog, but H!O, showing off her new hair cut. Though, I must say I like it better crimped. ^_^
The next thing I noticed is that she’s not an ameba blogger, but an Oricon blogger. I don’t tend to follow idol blogs, so I’m not quite familiar with exactly who’s on which site, but I feel like a load of the Hello! Project (current and former) bloggers are on ameba. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m wondering if anyone will be translating her blog, ’cause my Japanese is not very good. However, seeing as this is Aya, and I am me, I gave it a go and tried translating her opening entry myself. The basic idea that I was able to extract from this entry was as follows (my questions and confusion live within the italics):
Aya has never had a diary for longer than 3 days. She wonders how she should do this blog and awaits requests (or maybe suggestions). For one part in that first paragraph, all I can get out of the translation is bon appetite (seeing as she said itadakimasu… I have no idea how that fits into what she’s talking about. XD)She is excited to spend time on this blog.
Then she talks about rehearsals for a LIVE tour… She’s doing a tour? And I haven’t heard about it? WTF? And how the rehearsals make her muscles ache.
It’s been 9 years since her debut. This LIVE will be a recap of the past 9 years, and something about a Best Album LIVE. Aya concert tour AND new album?! o_O I have no idea what she says next, but google translate is telling me something about not having a following during the live, which again makes no sense to me.
Her musical load has been pretty relaxed over the past 3 years, so this winter she wants to concentrate on the production and recording of new songs so that she can get them to us. Or something along those lines…
So she will enjoy herself, sing and make memories.
Come and see her, let your stress out and make memories with her. She’ll be waiting at the venue.
Also, next year a LIVE DVD should be released. And she apologizes to Haruna Ai for some reason… XD
Finally, it looks like she may be posting photos from rehearsals.
So, I only know a very small number of kanji, and even using a dictionary, I’m probably getting the context wrong. I do hope that I’m not getting my hopes up for an album and live… But I don’t think I could have mistranslated that bit about a DVD incorrect, unless she’s talking about someone else releasing a DVD and I just completely missed something. -_-;
Anyway, there’s my try and translating Aya’s blog… XD Anyone who actually knows what they’re doing, PLEASE feel free to correct me. ^_^
The H!P blogs I thought of first were mostly on Oricon: Melon Kinenbi, HANGRY&ANGRY, Satoda Mai, Iida Kaori, Maeda Yuki, and Mano Erina. The blogs I can think of on Ameblo are Ishigoro Aya, Yaguchi Mari, Yasuda Kei, and Ichii Sayaka (lol, all of 2nd gen), and Fujimoto Miki. So I guess they’re about the same, but yeah, Ameblo is more popular for idol blogs in general.
At the DVD part, I guess she apologizes to Haruna Ai cause she’s such a big fan/famous for Ayaya impersonations, and she says it’s been a long time since her last DVD, lol XD
