Morning Musume’s Tanaka Reina will be voicing a character in Sanrio’s new Onegai My Melody series “Onegai My Melody: Kirara☆.” It’s still unknown which character she will play.
The series will premiere on April 6 on TV Tokyo.

The picture above is actually from the current Onegai My Melody series (the new promo picture isn’t out yet as far as I know) so it’s highly unlikely that she’ll play any of the characters shown.
No word on any related singles.

hello there! i’m a fan of this blog (when i think of a good H!P blog, this is definitely the first one i think of), but you might not have seen me around because i don’t usually have much to say in comments. ^^;
i hope this is the best way to contact you. judging from what it says on the downloads and lyrics sections about leaving a comment, i think it might be. if it’s not, i apologize! i could not find any other way.
in response to Goto Maki’s coming to Los Angeles, i’ve decided to try to trigger a way for U.S. (and other non-residents of Japan, every country is welcome and encouraged to participate!) to support her and cheer her on–by gathering together in our local areas to celebrate! i think this way we can demonstrate just how powerful non-Japanese support can be, and also have fun in the process!
however, in order to achieve this and make it a success, the news of this day (April 12th, 2008, which i call Gomaki Ganbare day) will have to reach many, many H!P and Goto Maki fans. i have already contacted Hello! Online, and they liked my idea but found that it wouldn’t fit in as a news item, so i really need the help of other H!P fans who can get the news to as many people as possible.
you see, we have a very limited time because this day should be held while Goto Maki is still in Los Angeles, that way there is a higher chance she will be able to learn about the efforts us fans have put into supporting her, and hopefully be able to appreciate how much we love her. :]

every thing but the updates and help section is managed by a wiki, so that people can edit pages to find out who is in their area, and coordinate gatherings without the need to make their own websites (or even register, like you would need to for a forum).
so i am sincerely asking that if you find this idea intriguing at all, if you would please blog about it. i will give you *any* information you need, or even write the entry for you (i use proper capitalization for blogging ;D). but if this is impossible, is there any place you would recommend that might be willing to write about it? as you could imagine, there is no way this idea will work out unless a lot of people hear about it.
