Long-time Hello!Project member Ayaka is graduating on April 30. This isn’t that surprising. I mean, the last time I heard her voice on a CD was the “hey DJ” part of Egao YES Nude.
What is more surprising is that in the official press release it states that Ayaka will be graduating from both Coconuts Musume and Hello!Project. Did they really need to put in that part about Coconuts Musume? Coconuts Musume has been dead for almost 4 years now. Yeah, I know she’s still credited as Ayaka (Coconuts Musume), but come on!
In an official statement, Ayaka has expressed that she would like to continue on in show business as an actress.
I’m definitely sad to see her go. I guess there really isn’t much point in watching the Elder Club concert anymore. I really only watched it for Biyuuden, Ayaka and Nacchi. Now that 2 of the 3 are gone, and that Nacchi gets her own concerts, I can pretty much pass on downloading those monster-sized files. I’m not too broken up about it, considering I’m more of a Wonderful Hearts man myself. Uh, now I’m starting to sound like those people I hate on forums. Look what you made me do, Ayaka!
Bye Ayaka! Best of luck on becoming an actress.

I think the graduating from Coconuts Musume part means that Coconuts Musume is now officially a zero-member group … that can potentially continue to be active in some capacity …

Wow, I didn’t even know that she did the “hey DJ” part on Egao Yes Nude. O___O

So she was the one who said “hey DJ” i thought it sounded familiar. couldn’t be anyone from Momusu at the time. Its sad that she’s going but I think it would do her good to be an actress. Gambatte Ayaka!

She was the girl that got me into H!P (Ayaka’s suprise english lessons), that’s heartbreaking to hear that she’s leaving. It’s probably for the best anyway because UFA is too shit to actually manage anyone right.

Like everybody else said, AYAKA DID THE “HEY DJ”? Huh… now I’m gonna get sad everytime I listen to Egao YES Nude. But either way, I hope she succeeds in the future and gets to do more things in showbiz than H!P let her do. I’ll keep cheering her on~!

I think this is good news because Ayaka gets a chance to actually do something! I hope she’ll really have a chance to have a career now. I’m gonna miss her alot though! I loved her concert performances.
No more chance for a Yossy-Mai-Ayaka trio…

Not to repeat everyone else, but wow, Ayaka did the Hey DJ? Can you tell me where you found that out?
I second Andra’s “:(” about the loss of the possble Yossy/Ayaka/Mai trio. But really, this was long overdue. Ayaka deserves better.

I don’t think Ayaka does the “Hey DJ”… It really doesn’t sound like her.
Source please..

I just heard the “hey DJ” thing through the grapevine, considering there’s no way to know who that person actually is.

H!P is missing out! I’m going to miss her like crazy. This is both a good and bad thing. As an actress she’ll be able to express herself in a whole new way and be able to reach out to her fans more. The bad part is that H!P is losing their most beautiful, talented and sweetest member. It’s a shame that Up-Front Agency didn’t give her more of a chance after Mika left Coconuts Musume. She brought alot to H!P as a member of Coconuts and Shuffle Units, on TV through “Ayaka’s Surprise English Lesson” and “Uta Doki! Pop Classics” as well as various plays and musicals. I will miss Ayaka in H!P like crazy, she’ll always be my favorite member. I respect her decision and I’m definetly looking forward to her acting career! Ayaka, you’ll always have my support, always go for the best and never settle for anything less! I love you girl, this isn’t goodbye ’cause we’ll be seeing you! Best of luck to you!
