Satoda Mai recently underwent a high fashion makeover in the most recent issue of Josei Seven magazine. By high fashion makeover, I mean she was attacked by those Corioliss hair straightener gypsies at the mall. (Sorry, that was the best video I could find on YouTube.)
I don’t know if those gypsies are in malls everywhere, but for those of you who don’t know, they’re usually flamboyant guys (those ones who feel they only need to do up the bottom 3 buttons on their button-up shirt) who wave hair straighteners 2cm from your face when you’re at the mall. There’s this one woman who works at mine who could rival Barry White with her voice and always looks like she’s waiting for somebody to take her mugshot at any given moment. Ah, beauty!
Anyways… In this photo, Mai was made to look like supermodel Naomi Campbell, except you know, the being black part. I have to admit that the clothes Mai are wearing actually look pretty similar to those on Naomi. However, it’s a horrible thing to look like Naomi. You could get banned from British Airways if you’re not careful.
It all starts with a makeover. First she’ll just look like Naomi, then start acting all self-important like her, and pretty soon she’ll be beating her managers and staff with a jewel-encrusted cell phone. Just you guys wait. I bet that’ll be the next Friday scandal.

We don’t have straightener gypsies but we do have those annoying zpper bag stalkers, they actually follow you around the mall. >.> I liked Mai better in the before picture.

There should be some law passed where you’re allowed to punch anybody who works at an annoying business at the mall. Those people just get out of hand sometimes.

Mai’s dress definitely doesn’t look like Naomi’s dress.

Does anyone else think that it’s amazing that Pabo’s single is still selling after all this time? I thought that it would sell like, 500 copies and that would be it.
Thanks for posting this. I secretly actually like Satoda quite a bit.
