Around the internet, people have been calling Matsuura Aya a granny because of her lacy outfit and matronly hair bun. I have to disagree. She looks like one of those twenty year olds they get to play middle-aged women in those Olay old woman skin cream commercials. (1, 2) You know those ones who look way too old to be twenty but way too young to be fourty? Yup.

Anyways, the Kizuna music video aired today. It’s boring and looks like one of those made-for-the-Pucchi-Best-DVD music videos (see: Maeda Yuki and/or Nakazawa Yuko.) Come on Tsunku, let’s get this Matsuura stuff together. I’m surprised she hasn’t left a la Goto Maki yet. Not that I want her to, but this doesn’t really seem like a quality release.

The single will be released on May 21 and the Single V will hit stores on June 4.

The cover (left) to Matsuura Aya’s 20th single, Kizuna, has been posted on TV Station. The single V cover (right) has also been posted.

UFA is dumb and waited too long to release this single. The single was announced in December 2007 and the Japan Special Olympics (for which Kizuna was the official song) were two months ago. It probably should have been released then.

Anyways, the single is officially coming out on May 21 and the Single V will be released on June 4.

Next month, Matsuura Aya will release her new single, Kizuna. Not only is the song her 20th single, it was also the official support song for the 2008 Japan Special Olympics.

CDJournal has uploaded the track list to Kizuna. The c/w is called Hitori. There was also a song called Hitori on Matsuura’s 5th album “Naked Songs.” It is yet to be seen whether or not the songs are the same.

Kizuna will be released on May 21, 2008.
