Record China has posted photos of Morning Musume filming for the upcoming TV show “Hello Project New Star.” The TV show will follow the H!P auditions in Taiwan. From the looks of things, they performed Resonant Blue and also had a talk.
According to Record China, the show will start on June 7 and air every Saturday and Sunday. The Record China website has more photos from the taping.
Neowing lists the title to Tsukishima Kirari starring Kusumi Koharu’s 5th single as “Pa Pancake”. The song will be the new ending theme to her anime, Kirarin Revolution.
The single will be released July 16.
Usually when people say “first!” it’s really an annoying thing. This time it ain’t so bad, especially for Morning Musume. Today they recieved an invitation to perform a concert in Shanghai in celebration of the Shanghai World Expo 2010. They are officially the first Japanese artists to take part in the promotion. The concert will take place on June 28, 2008.
The outfits used in the press conference are like those from Mikan only less bedazzled and with more lace. On previous occasions, the costumes that they wore overseas were cute. I don’t know what happened here, but it’s a tragedy! Satoda Mai, use your fashion sense to help these girls out.

On April 5, Morning Musume’s Mitsui Aika complained of a stomachache after the concert performed at Hachioji Citizen Hall. After a medical examination, she was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and must rest for two weeks.
Mitsui will miss the April 12 and April 13 Morning Musume concerts due to her condition.
Neowing now has a new single listed for a new H!P unit tentatively called “Cinderella The Musical” Special Unit. Both limited and regular editions the unit’s first single (currently untitled) will be released on June 11. The limited edition will include a bonus DVD that includes the song’s music video.

The cover (above) to Kamei Eri’s upcoming photobook “Eri” was uploaded onto e-Hon. The photobook is a compilation of photos from her other solo photobooks.
Eri will be released on April 3.

As previously reported, Tanaka Reina will star in the new Sanrio anime “Onega My Melody Kirara☆.” Reina will play Kirara, the main character (the girl in the blue dress above.)
You can download the commercial for the new series above, although it doesn’t feature any of Reina’s voice acting. The series will premiere on April 6.
