Long-time Hello!Project member Ayaka is graduating on April 30. This isn’t that surprising. I mean, the last time I heard her voice on a CD was the “hey DJ” part of Egao YES Nude.

What is more surprising is that in the official press release it states that Ayaka will be graduating from both Coconuts Musume and Hello!Project. Did they really need to put in that part about Coconuts Musume? Coconuts Musume has been dead for almost 4 years now. Yeah, I know she’s still credited as Ayaka (Coconuts Musume), but come on!

In an official statement, Ayaka has expressed that she would like to continue on in show business as an actress.

I’m definitely sad to see her go. I guess there really isn’t much point in watching the Elder Club concert anymore. I really only watched it for Biyuuden, Ayaka and Nacchi. Now that 2 of the 3 are gone, and that Nacchi gets her own concerts, I can pretty much pass on downloading those monster-sized files. I’m not too broken up about it, considering I’m more of a Wonderful Hearts man myself. Uh, now I’m starting to sound like those people I hate on forums. Look what you made me do, Ayaka!

Bye Ayaka! Best of luck on becoming an actress.

Above is the cover from Niigaki Risa’s fourth solo photobook, Happy Girl. For some reason she just looks dirty in the picture. I mean dirt as in filth. My brain tells me it’s not so, but my eyes tell me yes. It must be the combination of messy hair and the lighting. It just has to be! That, or UFA’s infamous photoshop “skills.”

The photobook comes out this Friday, April 25. Perhaps they can put the profit earned towards getting a better photoshopper. Just kidding! You know UFA hates spending money on anything that can remotely please the fans.

Ishikawa Rika showed off the goods at an event on Saturday for Fanta Furu Furu Shakers. Just look at that stink-face she’s giving the camera! From the look of things, she loves shaking what her mama gave her! I guess you can take the girl out of Biyuuden, but you can’t take the Biyuuden out of the girl.

The official Hello!Project website has announced that Hello!Pro Kansai has graduated from trainee status and will debut under the name SI☆NA (pronounced shiina.) The name SI☆NA is an acronym for the members’ names: Suma, Iwashima, Nakayama, Abe.

No further information is available at this time.

The new season just started and that means a new opening and ending song by Buono! The opening song is “Minna Daisuki” and is the b-side to Buono!’s new single. The ending song “Kiss!Kiss!Kiss” is the title track.

Kiss!Kiss!Kiss! will be released on May 14.

The cover to Biyuuden’s second music video compilation DVD, Biyuuden Single V Clips 2 ~Arigato Biyuuden Debut Kara no Dai Zenshu~), is now on the Hello!Project website. The DVD contains all of the group’s music videos since their debut.
