freehummingbird is a contributor for IW. Born in Canada in February 1992, he discovered his love for music as a child, being musically involved since the age of 4. He found his love for J-Pop as an early teenager through television and since then, he has been filling his computer with Japanese music. He does love various genres, but it’s his love for Japanese techno, in particular Perfume (discovering them in their early major years), that takes over his blog (even his blog is named after Perfume’s first original album). He’s fallen in love with several Hello! Project groups (H!P kids to be exact!) and certain Johnny’s groups. He usually writes a freakishly long, detailed, and amusing reviews about his favorite singles, albums & PVs. He writes in a style an excited 16-year-old would write and he usually has a scheme to his reviews. He also doesn’t regularly update, because he’s a busy busy bee!
He’s also a lagging android plugging computer chips into everyone’s brains so that they gain a love for Perfume and Nakata-san’s genius works.
