johpan doesn’t enjoy talking in the third person very much but might as well to follow the pattern set by his peers. The only other time he talks in the third person is when he changes his twitter and facebook statuses. He is a big computer dork and also loves all sorts of music - mainly Japanese. One of his first loves was electronic music and he also loves all things cute, so the first time he heard TechnoPop, he almost died.
He started listening to Japanese music (outside of Video Games and Anime) in 2001 by listening to Hamasaki Ayumi, then went on to other artists such as m-flo, the whole H!P crew, Do As Infinity, Day After Tomorrow, Utada Hikaru, Otsuka Ai, ZONE, capsule, and the list goes on. Right now, hefs really focusing on being a Perfume fanboy and really wants to finish off his collection of Perfume CDs.
Johpan currently works on articles, remixes, and stepcharts on boylikesmusic and makes critical observations on electro-CUTE! and Sweet & SAWA between sleep, food, work, and school. You can totally see he has is priorities in order.
Also, for the record, my favourite Perfume Member is Kashiyuka, H!P Member is Niigaki Risa (contrary to popular belief of JunJun being #1), and song is Aira Mitsuki’s GALAXY BOY with Suzuki Ami joins Nakata Yasutaka (capsule) - FREE FREE close behind.
