MM Concert Tour ’10 Haru ~PikaPika!~ – MC’s (Hello!Fansubs)

Well, even if the PV for Genki Pika Pika wasn’t really… worth watching, the concert DEFINITELY is. After reading this review, I think you would certainly agree. With a grudging sort of appreciation for those who she likes the least, I think it’s safe to say that Islie has given this concert her whole hearted approval. The vocals sounded amazing in this concert (maybe the lack of a certain someone?) and the MC’s were very entertaining!

Hello! Fansubs Launches Official Channel

New Official YouTube Channel! (Hello! Fansubs)

It wasn’t that long ago that SacredCultivator was considering shutting down his site.  I’m glad to see so many people rallying around him now.  And in a complete about face, he has announced Hello! Fansubs has an official channel on YouTube.  So now it will be easier than ever to see the hard work SC and his team have been doing all this time.  Check the post for more info, and of course the link!

New single details:「Fushizen na Girl / Natural ni Koishite」 (Perfume City)

Contrary to initial interpretations, Natural ni Koishite is actually one half of Perfume’s latest single… a DOUBLE A-SIDE SINGLE! According to the news from Perfume City, ekuseru points out that Fushizen translates to “unnatural” or “artificial” contrasting with the “Natural” kind of love that we’ve been introduced to from its PV and Natural Beauty Basic CM clips.

To those who weren’t completely satisfied with how Natural ni Koishite turned out, here’s hoping that the contrast in titles also carries into a contrast of emotion conveyed in the music.

To the rest of us that just enjoy the fact that Perfume’s releasing new stuff, YAY FOR US :D

Natural ni Koishite PV Released! (Perfume City)

Meirin reports that Perfume’s latest single’s PV is up on TOKUMAJAPAN’s YouTube channel! Considering it’s been a year since we’ve heard a new single*, this is a very welcome bit of news on this fine Cake Day! It also justifies my pre-order. Yay Perfume for never failing me!

And the Best Perfume Song of 2009 is… (Perfume City)

Meirin over at Perfume City has the results for their recent poll asking readers what they thought the top Perfume song of the year was! I don’t want to spoil the top three, but I do want to mention that one of my favorite songs, the best thing, came in at #4! Either tons of Perfume fans have great taste or we’re all just crazy! I was surprised to realize that Perfume only released one single and one album this year, but I guess it’s good that they’re not flooding the market. Let’s hope that they release some more #1 singles next this year and continue their domination of the technopop industry!

[TUT] Watch f(x)’s Performances LIVE with us! (Aff(x)tion Forums)

OMONA THEY DIDN’T is a LiveJournal community that’s been around for quite a while but it’s new to IW! Their mission is to gather KPop news from different sources around the internet (their own translation team’s articles, K Bites, allkpop, and other sources) and post them in one place. I always check this community for quick updates when I can’t just check my RSS feed for news! Aff(x)tion Forums is a part of the allkpop forum network (you can view the other ones in their top menu bar) and it is dedicated to SME’s latest girl group, f(x)!

Anyway, these are the links for this weekend’s performances. OMONA usually embeds YouTube videos of all the performances as they come out, so make sure to check every weekend for the latest stages! For these performances, SHINee, BEAST, Brown Eyed Girls, F.T. Triple, 2PM, HAM, f(x) and a lot of other artists are promoting their latest singles. Also, for those of you who don’t know, you can catch these performances live (though probably in the middle of the night if you live in America, baw Korean Standard Time!) by checking out the live stream. I noticed that Aff(x)tion Forum member < <3 created a really short tutorial filled with different links for how to watch the show, so thank you to <<3! You can’t view the forum post without having an account (sorry!) but it’s worth it for the great videos and photos of the f(x) girls. Now you have no excuse for watching the latest performances, so RING DING DONG RING DING DONG RING DIGGY DING DIGGY DING DING DING RING DING DONG RING DING DO–*fired*

AKB48′s Musical Infinity is HOT

AKB48′s musical Infinity starring Akimoto Sayaka/Miyazawa Sae and Takahashi Minami/Kashiwagi Yuki has started (…and ended) and the Saeyaka blog provides us with lots of information on it! The first post has photos showcasing how fantastic Saeyaka look in their costumes, as well as a video from a morning TV program that includes a short talk with the cast as well as some clips from the final rehearsal. But the most important thing in the post is the information on the kiss. Even though it was supposed to be fake, apparently Sayaka kissed for real! The second post has more pictures of the Sayaka + Takamina version of the play. I can see why Takamina’s heart was racing. So is mine!

An Update from the Perfume City Office

Everyone’s favorite Perfume fan site brings news of a new writer in their ranks. Meirin (on the Perfume City BBS), or Mei for short, has been hired to provide the main blog updates promising some fun stuff to accompany the regular news releases and little tidbits that we know and love from ekuseru. You can find out more about the new writer in her blurb about herself in the post!

Getting right down to business, Mei gives us the latest news on Triangle’s sales performance, the “Isosceles Right-Angled Tour”, and a new DVD set of their TV shows! Also, Mei ends off with the latest news from the “Sekai no Perfume” multimedia project that took place over the summer.

Aya’s Got A Blog!!! :O (Shine More)

Former Hello!Project soloist Matsuura Aya has followed suit and opened up her own blog, nicely named “Ayablog”! maiZe, of course, has reason to be happy right now! At her Aya worship blog, maiZe posts a photo of Aya’s new hair (nice!) and tries her hand at translations. Although maiZe is not fluent in Japanese, I think she got the gist of Aya’s post and wowzer, Aya is recording new songs! Aya might currently be recording new songs! Until someone fluent in Japanese translates this (no offense to you, maiZe, you know I love you but we can’t be sure!) I think we’ll all be left speculating about what Ayaya has in store for us. But, even if this news about Aya releasing new material isn’t true, at least she now has a blog where we can all follow her and know what she’s up to!
